Hey from Heidi!

Hi everybody! My name’s Heidi and I am Glow’s newest member!

I joined Glow last year in July and since then I have had an amazing time! I remember when I was asked to join Glow. I was incredibly excited because I had seen Glow perform before at our church and it was like my dream to be involved in something like that. I loved singing and dancing and just performing in general, so when I was asked, it was a definite yes without hesitation!

When I began, I had to learn quite a few dances in a very short amount of time, so I guess it was a good thing that I was able to pick up dances quickly. My favourite performance since then has been the Kidfest rally at Rod Laver Arena. It was a big event and I had always wanted to perform there since I had been to concerts and seen the stars up on stage. Our performance was so much fun and we even had confetti canons go off!

I love the other Glow members, because since I joined, they have always been looking out for me and helping me with any problems I’ve had, like when I accidentally sleep in when we are meant to be performing somewhere!

We really have the best times travelling around the place, meeting new people, going to new schools, sharing God’s love, getting new costumes, eating too much food and just being around each other. That’s what it’s really like to be a Glow girl!
